What a blessing to spend time with family. Family is the root that help you stand tall. Shout out to my nephew, Khi; my brother, Heath; and my sister, Cassie for driving hours and hours and HOURS to come visit with me in prison. I love you all. It was one of the best times I've had, here on my 4,175th day of incarceration. 

I just want to say to everyone who feels that their family or someone they love doesn't seem to care, maybe because they aren't paying attention to what you have going on: please be careful. We, as humans with loads of insecurities, often tend to project our own feelings, fears or thoughts onto people in our efforts to feel loved. This is called "transference". It can destroy your relationships. Just because someone doesn't jump up to hug you whenever you walk through the door doesn't necessarily mean they don't love you. They could simply be distracted, maybe watching TV. :) Out of sight doesn't always mean out of mind! Just chill. Love all you people out there! Look at my nephew and my boy....little dudes :)
